Lions Quest Workshop

Due to receipt of a recent grant from LCIF, a two-day workshop has been scheduled for Monday Sept. 13 and Tuesday Sept. 14, 2010 in Lima, Ohio.
We already have 12 teacher/administrators from Lima City Schools, plus three from Findlay.
This workshop will be for grades 6-8 and 9-12. I anticipate other workshops later in the year.

1. Teachers can sign up at www.lions-quest.org under the Ohio/Lima workshop. They will then receive additional information.

2. Cost will be $200 per teacher. If the school does not have funding please contact a local Lions Club and ask for sponsorship of a teacher.
(See www.ohiolions.org/lionsquest.htm for local Lions contact information.) If these do not provide funding contact Paul Nutter to request an application for an “Ohio Lions-Quest Grant” to cover the workshop cost.

3. Payments can be made in advance to the Ohio Lions State office at Ohio Lions, Inc. 4074 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
Checks should be paid to “MD 13 Ohio Lions Quest”, with indication of which workshop and the number of participants attending.

4. The workshop is being hosted by the Lima City Schools, and will be located at the Academy of Learning 522 W. North Street, Lima, Ohio 45801 419-996-3290

5. The Lima Lions Club has offered to cover lunches and refreshments.
