| William “Bill” Keller is a graduate of Kenton High School
class of 1975. Bill retired after 30 years of working at the
Hardin County Highway department. He now works part time at ACE
hardware in Kenton.
Bill has been a member of the Kenton Lions club for twenty-nine years with eight years perfect attendance and has sponsored 5 new members. He has held every office except Treasurer and has been president twice. In 1999 he became the Webmaster of the District 13E website, and in 2000, Webmaster of the MD13 website. He still maintains both sites. Lion Bill and his wife Cindy were co-editors of the MD13 State newsletter from 2004-2009. Bill has served all the required offices to become Governor. Lion Bill has served on the following committees: PRaM, 2004 State Convention and the Ohio State School for the Blind Marching Band Ad Hoc committee. He is also a board member and Webmaster for the Ohio Lions Pin Traders Club. In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards including Three International Leadership Medals, Two International Presidents certificates, Three Council of Governors Award of Merit and a Governors Appreciation Medal. Lion Bill is also a Melvin Jones Fellow, and an honorary member of the Riverdale Community Lions Club. Bill was reunited with his child hood sweetheart Cindy and
they married in 2002. Bill’s hobbies include drumming, listening to all kinds of music, pin trading and Ohio Lions History. |
