Lion Sheryl was born in Troy, Ohio on October 18, 1951. She graduated from Julienne High School in May 1970.
After high school Lion Sheryl attended Sinclair Community College taking courses in Banking and Accounting 1, 2, and 3. Lion Sheryl attended Miami Jacobs College taking Secretarial courses.

She has worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years. Lion Sheryl works for Wal-Mart in Troy, Ohio as a Customer Service Manager over the front end on third shift.

Lion Sheryl met Lion Leo Schlater through the Troy Lions Club working on different committees together. Lion Sheryl and Lion Leo dated for a year. Lion Leo asked Lion Sheryl to go to the club Christmas Party for their first date. After one of the club meetings Lion Leo asked Lion Sheryl to go out and have ice cream. Lion Leo asked Lion Sheryl’s father for her hand in marriage. He said yes. Lion Sheryl and Lion Leo were married July 9, 2005 at St. Patrick’s Church in Troy, Ohio. Lion Leo and I love to travel. We are looking very forward to the trip to Australia. Next year we hope to travel to Alaska.

Lion Sheryl has been a member of the Troy Club since March of 2002.
